A Vintage Day for Prostate Cymru

The South West Wales area group of the National Vintage Tractor and Engine Club, who meet regularly at Nantyffin Motel, have a formidable record for raising money for charity having raised in excess of £100,000 over the years.

This year was no exception when their annual tractor run took place on Saturday 13th May starting from the Camrose Community Centre with fifty tractors travelling along the country lanes to Hayscastle before returning to Camrose.

A total of £3,150 was raised for Prostate Cymru which included £1,000 generous match funding from Barclays Bank.

Brain Harries, the Chairman of Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru, who drove a vintage tractor on the day and is pictured receiving the cheque, commented, “It was a privilege to take part in the tractor run and to be able to receive such a wonderful amount of money for Prostate Cymru which will further their work in relation to a disease which affects so many Welshmen”
