Dragon Duathlon

Adrian Hurley, Ken Gale, Martin Jones and Prys Davies are taking part in the Dragon Duathlon for Prostate Cymru on Saturday 1st July. The team are a group of Dads from a Welsh medium primary school in Llandaff, Cardiff. They began running and cycling together about three years ago and have entered a range of amateur sporting competitions since.

The Dragon Duathlon is an epic sporting endurance challenge. The event starts in Swansea and participants have just 24 hours to cycle to Beaumaris in Anglesey, North Wales in addition to running up the three peaks of Wales: Pen-y-Fan, Cadair Idris and Snowdon. The group have entered two 2 man relay teams to take on the enormous challenge of cycling from South to North Wales and running up the difficult terrain of three peaks all above 800 metres.

The four friends have chosen to raise funds for Prostate Cymru through their participation in the Dragon Duathlon. The team hope to raise £10,000 for the charity through sponsorship and welcome any contribution that will help them reach their target. Each team member has an individual JustGiving page which can be accessed via the team JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/DragonDuathlonProstate
