Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales, is grateful to be one of the nominated charities once again of Newport Uskmouth Rotary & Satellite Club’s annual rotary ride event. The cycling event will also be supporting Ty Hafan, the leading paediatric palliative care charity, helping children and families throughout Wales.

The Magor and Undy Family Bike Ride will take place on Saturday 29th June at 2:30pm. Registration will take place from 1:30pm at The Golden Lion in Magor Square. There are two routes for participants to choose from: 5 miles and 18 miles. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the ride and those under 16 must have an adult’s permission to ride. Both routes are fairly flat and take in the scenery of the Gwent Levels, perfect family friendly rides. Following completion of the cycle, participants can join the club for a BBQ in the Golden Lion along with live music, face painting and a raffle with some fantastic prizes.

The club have organised some great fundraising activities to encourage participants to raise as much as they can for the two nominated charities. For every £25 sponsorship raised, participants can obtain a free raffle ticket which will be entered into the raffle on the day to win some great prizes. There are also limited edition 600ml aluminium water bottles branded with the event logo and which can be personalised for £7. All profits from the water bottle sales go directly to the two charities.

Newport Uskmouth Rotary & Satellite Club would like to thank everyone who has supported or sponsored the event including The Golden Lion, Magor Printing, Tovey Bros, Marriott St Pierre Golf & Leisure Clubs, T & S Tyres, CHF Estate Agents and Adam Gold.
