An open gardens weekend is taking place on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July in Britain’s smallest city St Davids for Prostate Cymru. Organised by Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru committee member Julia Horton-Powdrill and endorsed by patron and television presenter Iolo Williams, the weekend will see a number of gardens across the city opened to the public on Saturday between 10:30am and 5:00pm and on Sunday between 11:30am and 4:00pm. The weekend is sponsored by Twr y Felin Hotel, Roch Castle, Penrhiw Priory, The Daisybus Gardens of Wellbeing and St Davids Kitchen.

In addition to a number of gardens open to explore, there will be a number of related activities in the city to enjoy too including a weekend gardeners market at Cross Square, performances from Goodwick Community Brass Band, a prostate awareness stand, cake sales, yoga, arts and crafts, talks from Sarah Wint (Gardens for Wellbeing) and gardening gurus Terry Walton and Lynne Allbutt.

Tickets for adults on single days (Saturday or Sunday) are £6 for adults and £3 for children (8-17 years). Weekend tickets that are valid for both days are £10 for adults and £4.50 for children (8 – 17 years). Tickets and maps are available from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Visitor Centre at Oriel y Parc and will be available during the weekend from the Prostate Cymru stand in Cross Square.
