The seventh annual Vale of Glamorgan Classic Car Show will take place on Monday 27th May. The popular event, organised by the Rotary Club of Dinas Powis, starts at 10:30am at the Sully Sports and Leisure Club. This year’s show will be supporting two charities: Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales and Barnardo’s, the UK charity caring for vulnerable children and young people.

A wide range of classic cars, those dating from the earliest cars manufactured up to 1995, and other vintage vehicles will be on show. The event will showcase over 200 amazing classic cars and motorbikes covering an area equivalent of 2 football pitches! There will be three very experienced adjudicators on site to judge the cars and motorcycles for those competing. A trophy awaits the best car on show as well as the best motorcycle and there are awards for the two runners up in each category.

In addition to the main attraction of the classic cars there will also be exhibits, auto-jumble, accessories, merchandise, memorabilia, crafts and trade stands. Auto-jumble is a haven of parts and spares for anyone working on their car! Hot and cold food and drink will be available on site and there will be fun activities for children including a fun fair, making it a very family-friendly bank holiday day out! So, whether interested in classic cars or just taking the children out for the day there will be something for everyone.

Entry fee is just £3.50 for adults. Children under fourteen can enter for free but must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that dogs are not allowed on site. The Rotary Club of Dinas Powis would like to thank the individuals and businesses who help make running the event possible through kind sponsorship including Classic Cars Cardiff and GD Graphics.
