Lady Captain of Llantrisant and Pontyclun Golf Club, Sian Webb has raised over £500 so far for Prostate Cymru.
Various events have contributed to this including Sian’s daughter shaving off her hair, a raffle, bucket collections and a wear pink for prostate ladies competition. Thanks to Sian’s hard work Prostate Cymru has been nominated as one of the “green disc” causes at her local Asda Living store in Talbot Green and Sian is hoping to hold a bucket collection there as well.
Sian has picked Prostate Cymru as her charity in memory of her father who suffered with prostate cancer.
Speaking about her funding raising efforts Sian Webb said, “I’d like to do something that I hope he would be proud of me for – fundraising in his memory.”
