Bridgend Rotary Club held a Bikerfun as part of the Rotary Father’s Day Ride campaign on 28th June.
45 riders took part in the Rotary Club’s Bikerfun which has raised over £2000 for Prostate Cymru. The youngest participant was 10 and the oldest was 68 years old. Both the short (22 miles) and the long course (40 miles) were deemed by those who took part to be good courses and all participants enjoyed the event.
Bridgend Rotary Club would like to thank Rotarian Gwyn Thomas for his huge input into the concept and the organisation of the event, Bridgend RFC for allowing the club to use their premises at Tondu Road for the event, St John’s Ambulance for their support and members of the rotary club who helped with route planning, health and safety, registration and marshalling the courses.
