Tredegar Park Golf Club warmly welcomed Prostate Cymru Chairman Andy Thomas and committee member Dai John for an awareness evening on 23rd January.
Andy and Dai proved to be a double act to rival Morecambe and Wise as they jointly presented to the club. Andy informed members about prostate diseases and their respective treatments in addition to speaking about the work of Prostate Cymru. Dai provided a lighter presentation that included explaining the urinary system through a variety of props, sharing his personal story and the Prostate Song. Club members got involved and interacted with the presentation throughout the evening by asking a range of informed questions.
The evening closed with a cheque presentation of £500 from Islwyn 41 Club, an organisation that some of the club members belong to.
