Friday 19th December saw 13 volunteers turn out to the Cardiff Blues v Scarlets Derby at BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park brave the cold to take part in a bucket collection for Prostate Cymru. The volunteers included Jennifer Robinson, widow of Cardiff RFC, Wales player and Cardiff committee member, Ian ‘Robbo’ Robinson, who had been affected by the disease.
Many attendees recognised Robbo’s face on the buckets and despite the chilly temperatures the crowd generously donated on their way to watch the thrilling derby.
We are extremely grateful to all the supporters who gave and helped raised over £1100. We hope you all enjoyed Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
