Welcome to Prostate Cymru

Car Show Cheque Presentation

On Wednesday 6th September, Clwyd Practical Classics welcomed trustee John Daniels and Chairman of the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru Brian Harries BEM to their club meeting at the Mountain Park Hotel in Flintshire. At the meeting, the club presented the proceeds of their classic car show, an incredible £6830.29, to the duo from Prostate Cymru.

The Flintshire based club caters for enthusiasts of all classic and vintage cars. The club, which has over 200 members, is run by and for its members in order to further their education, interest and enthusiasm in classic and vintage vehicles.

More than 1500 people enjoyed the classic car show organised by Clwyd Practical Classics on Sunday 9th July. The popular annual event was held at Barlow’s Caravan Park in Caerwys. Hundreds of vehicles including cars, motorcycles and tractors were on display courtesy of local car clubs, individuals and enthusiasts. The event also featured stalls, other attractions and a prize giving. Since the event’s inception in 1990, the club has raised £76494 for local charities. The money raised at this year’s event will help the charity raise awareness across Wales including North Wales.
