Dillie Keane’s concert

Olivier Award-nominated actress, singer and comedienne Dillie Keane took a short break from the cabaret group Fascinating Aida to present her solo show in Britain’s smallest city as part of her tour. Following on from her award winning London performances, and before travelling on to the Edinburgh Festival, Dillie performed a very special one-off show on 3rd July at Ysgol Dewi Sant in St Davids, Pembrokeshire. She entertained a full house with some brand new songs and some grand old favourites, gorgeous songs of love and melodies of disgraceful filth…

She was invited to St Davids by Julia Horton-Powdrill, whose husband passed away from prostate cancer in 2014, to help her raise money for Prostate Cymru.

“Originally, Fascinating Aida, of which Dillie is one ‘third’ were coming to perform,” says Julia “but sadly Adele is unwell, so Dillie, who was keen to support the charity came on her own. She had a marvellous time here staying in St Davids and is planning to return next year with Fascinating Aida to bring us their wicked wit and talent. Pembrokeshire won’t know what has hit it!”

The evening raised £1,500 for Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru.
