Be transported to the world of the “silver screen” with a magical concert in aid of Prostate Cymru and Rotary Charitable Causes. Organised by Pembroke Rotary Club in association with Folly Farm a special concert featuring the renowned Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra will take place at Follies Theatre, Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire on 24th March. The concert will begin at 7:00pm.

Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra was founded by its conductor Michael Bell MBE in 1982. The popular orchestra is recognised as one of Wales’ foremost non-professional orchestras with a reputation for a wide-ranging repertoire from film music and light classics to major works. Principal violinist Jill Francis-Williams is the current leader of the orchestra.

The programme of the concert features many works by the celebrated film composer John Williams including themes from Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan, The Cowboys, Jurassic Park and E.T. The famous American composer, conductor and pianist has written the scores of over one hundred films in addition to television and Olympic themes.
