Blaenrhondda Football Club are supporting Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales, during the 2019-2020 season. The club based in Rhondda Cynon Taf was formed in 1934 and currently plays in the South Wales Alliance League Premier Division. The club are displaying banners at their grounds to raise awareness during their home matches. Members of the senior team have been wearing Prostate Cymru t-shirts to training and are displaying the charity’s logo on their playing kit.

As part of their fundraising, the club have organised a fundraising night for the charity. An Evening with Ray Parlour will take place at Blaenrhondda Social Club on Saturday 16th November. Ray Parlour, a former English professional footballer, will entertain guests with tales of his career playing for big clubs such as Arsenal, Middlesbrough and Hull City. Further entertainment will be provided by local up and coming comedian Drew Taylor. The evening will also include a delicious three course meal.

Tickets are £40 per person or £350 for a table of 10. The proceeds of the event, supported by Rhondda Radio, will be split between the football club and Prostate Cymru. You can book your tickets or a table by calling Robert Griffiths on 07914 939378 or emailing blaenafc@gmail.com.
