Prostate Cymru is delighted to announce that we have free charity places available for Cardiff Half Marathon 2026.
The event takes place on Sunday, 4th October 2025, and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s most popular running events while supporting an important cause.
After the incredible support we received in 2025, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who ran for #TEAMPC and helped raise vital funds to support men across Wales affected by prostate cancer.
For 2026, we’re inviting new runners to join the team. Each participant is asked to raise a minimum of £300, and in return will receive:

A complimentary Prostate Cymru running vest, wristband, and badge

Pre- and post-race hospitality at Tiny Rebel, including refreshments
The Cardiff Half Marathon features a flat, 13.1-mile route that’s ideal for runners of all abilities — from first-timers to seasoned athletes. As part of the SuperHalfs series, it sits alongside world-class races in Lisbon, Prague, Valencia, and Copenhagen. The scenic course takes runners past Cardiff Castle, through Penarth Marina, around Cardiff Bay, and alongside Roath Park Lake, finishing in front of cheering crowds at the Civic Centre.
By running for Prostate Cymru, you’ll be helping to fund essential services, life-saving research, and awareness initiatives that improve prostate health across Wales. Your support allows us to educate men about prostate issues, provide specialist medical equipment, promote earlier diagnosis, and invest in innovative treatments and support services for patients and their families.
Every pound raised helps us move closer to a future where more men survive prostate cancer and live longer, healthier lives.
