Welcome to Prostate Cymru

Chepstow Stampede 2016

Take part in the Chepstow Stampede this October for Prostate Cymru!

This year’s stampede will be held at Chepstow Racecourse on Saturday 22nd October and is in aid of three charities: Prostate Cymru, ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity and Breast Cancer Care Cymru.

There are two routes available for adults and teams to join (5km and 10km). The 5km race can now be entered by 14 and 15 year olds provided they have signed consent from a parent or guardian. There is also a “Mini Stampede”, a route of 1.6km which is suitable for children of five to fifteen years of age to participate in.

The course, carefully designed by military physical training instructors from Mojo Active, runs through Chepstow Racecourse, Piercefield Park and the Wye Valley. The stampede is a run that tests your speed, strength and endurance. The routes include a mixture of natural and manmade obstacles including steep banks and hills, horse hurdles and mud pits.
