Cowbridge Black Tie Dinner

The Mayor of Cowbridge with Llanblethian, Councillor David Morris, will host his final fundraising event on Friday 29th April. Cllr Morris has been fundraising for his nominated charities, Prostate Cymru and the Motivation and Learning Trust, since assuming office in May 2015. His fundraising events have included monthly coffee mornings, a strawberry tea, an exciting murder mystery evening and an entertaining Fawlty Towers themed evening. The Mayor will still be holding monthly coffee mornings on the first Saturday of each month until the end of his mayoral year.

The Mayor is holding a charity dinner as his final event of the year. The black tie event will be held in the St Quentin Suite at The Bear Hotel, Cowbridge. Attendees are advised to arrive at 7pm for a 7:30pm start to the evening and carriages at midnight. Entertainment will be provided by renowned local singer and DJ Aubrey Parsons. The resident singer at St David’s Hotel & Spa and The Celtic Manor Resort, Aubrey has an impressive 5550 songs from a variety of genres in his repertoire.

Guests will be treated to a sumptuous three-course meal consisting of a starter of melon rosette, a main of butter roasted turkey, baked fillet of salmon or pea and mint risotto and for dessert, a lemon tart. Freshly brewed coffee and mints will be available following the meal. It is advised that guests should indicate their choice of main course when booking their tickets for the event.
