Rugby vs Football Charity Match

A charity match will be held at Kenfig Hill RFC on 1st May. The event has been organised by the ‘Be Brave, Don’t Shave’ team in support of Prostate Cymru and Parkinson’s UK. Nine members of Kenfig Hill RFC’s 1st XV are growing beards until 11th June to raise money to support Prostate Cymru and Parkinson’s UK. The team decided to fundraise for the charities to support a family member who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and to continue raising awareness in the community in Kenfig Hill about prostate issues especially prostate cancer.

The match will kick off at 2:30pm. Following the match, entertainment will be provided by live band Catching Kate at 4:30pm. The four piece band from South Wales boast a versatile set of pop hits including Adele, Erasure and Guns N’ Roses. In addition to this enjoyable day of sport and music, a charity raffle will be held with amazing prizes such as a signed Exeter Chiefs rugby ball, signed Wales football jersey and Wales vs England football tickets on offer.
