Tata Steel Black Mountains Challenge

A team of twenty-four people, including Tata Steel’s Business Excellence Team and their family and friends, will take on the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys on Saturday 17th September in aid of Prostate Cymru. This year’s event is the team’s fifth annual sporting challenge for prostate cancer charities and Prostate Cymru is thrilled to be the beneficiary of 2016’s challenge.

The twenty-four strong team have a choice of either hiking or mountain biking through the Black Mountains. Using the bunkhouse in Talybont on Usk as a base to start and finish the event, the team will split into their respective groups: the cyclists will tackle the B roads of Llanbedr, the Hermitage and Llangattock and the hikers will set off on a challenging route incorporating the Table Mountain, Pen Cerrig Calch and Pen Allt Mawr.

The team are accepting donations to their JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Ron-Griffiths2
