The Big Walk 2015, it’s back!

2015 will see the return of Wales’ biggest charity walk from the Millennium Stadium to Kenfig Hill RFC, almost 30 miles.

Launched in 2014 a group 60 fundraisers took part in this physical and mental challenge from the Millennium Stadium to their local rugby club in Kenfig Hill, Bridgend – a gruelling 9 hours and a distance of nearly 30 miles. Warren Gatland, Wales Head Coach and Prostate Cymru Ambassador, and Ospreys second row, Lloyd Peers were at the starting line to officially start the walk. The total amount raised was an outstanding £9,000.

Thanks to the huge success of last year’s event the walk will become a regular feature in the Prostate Cymru charity calendar. This year’s event will take place on Saturday June, 13 and we are looking for more fundraisers to take part. Are you up for the challenge?

Anyone interested in setting up a similar challenge to your local club? Help us to continue the to raise funds for the leading Prostate Cancer charity in Wales so that we can support Welshmen suffering.
