The Dunraven Group is recognised as a major Welsh business, a successful entity known for its range of quality products and services.
Crucially for Prostate Cymru, the connection is cemented by David Brace OBE, who serves as the esteemed President of Prostate Cymru while also being the Chairman of the Dunraven Group.
David’s journey, which saw him diagnosed with prostate cancer after his involvement with the charity prompted him to seek a PSA test, lends a powerful, personal dedication to the partnership.
It is a true example of a corporate ally whose support is driven by personal experience and a clear understanding of our life-saving mission.
For over a decade, Dunraven has been the central supporter of almost every major fundraising event, from Golf Days, the intense Big Ten challenge, the picturesque Five Valleys Cycle, the glamorous Blue Tie Ball, and of course, The Big Walk.
Beyond sponsorship, the Dunraven team has actively participated in The Big Walk itself, and their operational support is invaluable, including providing the charity with a fully branded van for free, ensuring we can take our roadshows and equipment wherever they are needed across Wales.
Their history of support includes paving the way for our mission. They were key to successfully launching our awareness activities at the Royal Welsh Show, helping us get crucial access and visibility during our very first year of running the roadshow there.
Dunraven has also actively backed our vital PSA testing campaign, furthering awareness about the simple blood test that can lead to early diagnosis.
