Prostate Cymru announces a new charity partnership with Cardiff Devils for the 2022/23 season.
To celebrate the partnership, Cardiff Devils will be lighting up Ice Arena Wales in blue for their game v Fife Flyers on the 28th of January and Prostate Cymru will be bringing their mascot Wesley the Walnut to the game.

You will also be able to visit the Prostate Cymru 20 years artwork that will be showcased in Ice Arena Wales, home of the Devils, later in 2023.
As an audience of predominantly males, this is a particularly poignant partnership for the charity, with one of their key aims being to raise awareness and educate men in Wales on the dangers of prostate cancer.
Tina Tew, Chief Executive of Prostate Cymru said, “We are beyond grateful to The Cardiff Devils for the support that we have received to date and look forward to formalising a partnership with them for years to come.”
She continued, “With their reach and audience I am confident that we have a platform to spread our message and save lives. Their fundraising will contribute to us one-day beating cancer and all men in Wales having equal access to the support and treatment that they deserve.”
Speaking of the charity Partnership, Todd Kelman said, “With twenty guys on the team alone – not to mention the males who form part of our coaching staff and off-ice team – we couldn’t be better fitted to raise awareness of prostate health. “
“Brodie Reid and Josh Brittain will be the proud player ambassadors for Prostate Cymru this season, and I know they join me in looking forward to raising awareness of the work that this brilliant charity is doing in this area of men’s health.”
To commemorate Prostate Cymru’s 20-year birthday they are also teaming up with acclaimed Welsh artist Nathan Wyburn to produce a bespoke piece of artwork, which will be an acknowledgement of the last two decades.
