Prostate Cymru is proud to share that the Ray Murray Charity Golf Day 2025 was once again a tremendous success.
The event on the 23rd May brought together supporters, golfers, and friends for a fantastic day on the green, all in aid of raising vital funds and awareness for the fight against prostate cancer in Wales.
This year’s event saw an incredible turnout, with teams competing in the spirit of friendly competition and charitable giving.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, supported, and helped organise this special day. Your enthusiasm and generosity truly make a difference.
We are delighted to congratulate Cowbridge Darts Club, who played a superb round to take home the trophy.
They now join a proud list of past winners and have rightfully earned their place on the Ray Murray Cup..
The Ray Murray Charity Golf Day was established in memory of Ray Murray, founder of Prostate Cymru alongside Chairman Andy Thomas, who was passionate about both the sport and the cause.
The event was founded by the charity to honour Ray’s legacy and raise awareness of prostate cancer, the most common cancer in men in Wales.
Since its inception, the golf day has grown year on year – not just in numbers, but in spirit and community impact.
Each event serves as a reminder of Ray’s commitment and the importance of early detection and support for men living with prostate cancer.
