Welcome to Prostate Cymru

Rees Stephens Biography to Fundraise for Prostate Cymru

We are delighted to announce the publication of the biography of Neath RFC and Wales rugby legend, Rees Stephens, penned by Phil Grant.

After four years of dedicated work, this book is more than just a magnificent piece of sporting history, it is a vital fundraising effort for Prostate Cymru.

The book tells the complete, fascinating story of Neath RFC and Wales rugby legends Glyn Stephens and his son Rees Stephens, the only father and son to ever captain Wales at international rugby.

This 640-page hard cover volume documents the considerable contribution the Stephens family made to both club and international rugby in Wales.

The book is priced at £25.00 per copy and is expected to be available from Monday, November 17, 2025.

An incredible 40% of the sale price will be donated directly to Prostate Cymru, Wales’s leading prostate health charity.

By purchasing this book, you are directly supporting men in Wales with benign prostate disease and prostate cancer, helping us fight the disease, provide essential equipment, and raise vital awareness across the country.

The remaining 60% of the sale price covers the cost of printing the book.

Please note this is a single print run of only 450 copies. With only 350 copies remaining, this rare and collectable book is a guaranteed sell-out, so secure your copy before they are gone forever!

This makes an ideal Christmas present, and the author, Phil Grant, is happy to sign and dedicate copies to someone special upon request.

A book launch will take place at the Neath Athletic RFC clubhouse during the first week of December; the specific date is to be confirmed.

To reserve your copy and be added to the reservation list, please contact author Phil Grant directly via email on [email protected], or on his mobile 07870827953.
