The Tata Steel Business Excellence Team cycled and hiked the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons for Prostate Cymru on Saturday 17th September. This year’s event was the team’s fifth annual sporting challenge for prostate cancer charities with Prostate Cymru as the nominated charity for 2016.
Both the cyclists and hikers in the team welcomed the sunshine and calm conditions for their challenge. The mountain bikers tackled the roads of Llanbedr, the Hermitage and Llangattock before meeting up with the rest of the team. The hikers had the challenging climbs of Table Mountain and Pen Cerrig Calch but were rewarded at the summits with stunning views of Pen-y-Fan, Hay Bluff and the Sugar Loaf.
