On the 5th June 2021, Prostate Cymru and The Goodwash Company launched their new soap with “The Good Cycle”, a sponsored bike ride from Prostate Cymru’s offices to Goodsheds in Barry.
The luxury Welsh wash and lifestyle brand with a social conscience, has collaborated with Prostate Cymru to produce shower and shampoo soap bars that will help raise money to save the males in Wales.

After completing the 10-mile bike ride all riders received a Prostate Cymru x Goodwash Company Bodywash Soap as well as coffees and doughnuts kindly gifted by local welsh bakery, Friends in Knead.
This is the first in-person event that the charity has been able to host since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
All of the profits of soap will go directly to Prostate Cymru and help fulfil their core aims of raising awareness, supporting treatments, and improving equipment for prostate diseases.
Goodsheds based Academy Espresso Bar also took part in The Good Cycle and have raised over £200 for the charity.
Speaking about the partnership, Owen Pugsley from Prostate Cymru said, “It is so fantastic to be associated with a company like The Goodwash Company. The work Mandy and the GW team produce is outstanding, and they help out so many good causes. We have been developing the partnership over the last year and it is great to finally see the end product.”

The Barry based company produces cruelty free products and makes a conscious effort to source local organic ingredients.
There have been two new soaps launching in the Prostate Cymru x Goodwash Company range. A body soap and a shampoo bar.
The soaps will be priced at £5.50 per bar and are available on both the Prostate Cymru shop and through the Goodwash website.
The Goodwash Company has a shop located in Goodsheds, the first sustainable urban high street, in Barry where you will be able to not only buy the Prostate Cymru soap bar and t-shirt, but also pick up the Prostate Cymru Health Checker.
