On Friday 13th March the Mayor of Cowbridge Town with Llanblethian, Councillor Peter Knapp, hosted a sold out concert in aid of Prostate Cymru at Cowbridge Town Hall.
The concert, featuring local Rock Choirs from Cowbridge, Bridgend and Pontyclun, raised an amazing £1500 for the charity. ITV’s Ruth Wignall acted as compere for the evening, guiding the audience through the varied programme that also included performances from vocalist Verity-Belle Atkinson and saxophonist Sarah Maurice.
Under the direction of choir leader Stephanie Bailey, the Rock Choir impressed the audience with their renditions of well-known hit songs including True Colours, Rather Be, Budapest and Something Inside So Strong.
