Heatforce recently held a charity golf day in Llanishen and very kindly donated part of their proceeds to Prostate Cymru.
Heatforce have been holding their charity golf day for nine years and usually donate to Guide Dog Cymru – raising over £40,000 for the charity over the years.
This year Heatforce chose to donate part of their proceeds to Prostate Cymru. They chose to donate to the charity to help raise awareness of prostate cancer in support of the staff who have been affected both directly and indirectly by the illness.
The event was a huge success with 132 individuals taking part in the golf event in the day and during the evening 120 guests arrived for an evening dinner, which included a talk from Former Welsh Rugby International player Kingsley Jones.
Heatforce raised a massive amount for both charities and have donated around £4,000 to Prostate Cymru – an astounding donation which we are very grateful for.
Following on from the success of the event, Heatforce are now looking to invite us to their workplace to hold a series of awareness presentations to their workforce.
