Prostate Cymru’s ambassador Terry Walton attended a charity evening at Tredegar Park Golf Club in Newport on Saturday 6th May to accept a cheque for £1700 on behalf of the charity. The funds were raised by Norman Drewett, the captain of Tredegar Park Golf Club for 2016-2017. The club raised funds throughout the year by holding collections across the site and Norman organised a charity golf day which took place on Sunday 24th July 2016.
The golf club has continued its support of the charity as this year’s captain Jeff Dinham has also chosen Prostate Cymru as his nominated charity. Jeff will be fundraising at events during the year and has organised a charity golf day which will take place on Saturday 24th June.
