Welcome to Prostate Cymru

BROAD HAVEN CHRISTMAS PUDDING RUN BACK FOR 2021.

Broad Haven Christmas Pudding Run

This year the Broad Haven Christmas Pudding Run was back with a bang on Sunday 5th December.

The 10k charity fun run in the coastal village of Broad Haven is an annual event, with Prostate Cymru benefiting as nominated charity or receiving a donation as a local charity.

The late John Hart was a member of Pembrokeshire Friends Of Prostate Cymru and a marshal for the Christmas Pudding Run. Every year since his death there has been The John Hart “best dressed runner” award for fancy dress efforts in his memory.

This year the winners were Nathan Kirby in first place dressed as St Nicholas, Glyn Drake in second place dressed as a Christmas Tree, and Val Brown the virtual winner dressed as a Christmas cracker.

All the money from the Broad Haven Christmas Pudding Run goes to local charities.

This year the nominated charity is the Paul Sartori Foundation in memory of long time supporter and marshal Gordon Smith, who sadly passed away in August. There has also been a generous donation for Prostate Cymru, and other local charities.

Each participant received a Christmas pudding and wooden medal on crossing the finish line.

Over the past  years, the Pembrokeshire community have raised an incredible amount for Prostate Cymru.

The Ocean Bar’s Kay and Mostyn Davies have raised a staggering amount to help us raise awareness and help to improve equipment for prostate treatments and recently received the President’s Outstanding Contribution Award at Prostate Cymru’s The Big Celebration
