A Cowboys & Indians night was held at Kenfig Hill Rugby Club on Saturday 19th September in aid of Prostate Cymru and Velindre Cancer Centre. The event raised a brilliant £420 overall (£210 for each charity).
The Western themed evening included a barbeque dinner and entertainment by country duo Dusty Road who performed classics by Dolly Parton and Fleetwood Mac. Members of the club and guests who attended the evening got into the spirit by wearing cowboy style fancy dress.
During the evening, members of Kenfig Hill Rugby Club who took part in The Big Walk 2015 for Prostate Cymru in June were thanked and a ceremonial cheque presentation took place (pictured). The Big Walk 2015 raised just under £24000 for Prostate Cymru.
