Conceptual fusion restaurant and cocktail bar Etc Penarth hosted a Ladies & Gentleman’s Charity Afternoon Tea on Friday 7th June in aid of Prostate Cymru, the leading Welsh prostate health charity and CheckEmLads, an organisation dedicated to raising awareness of testicular cancer.
The restaurant and cocktail bar, situated in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan’s attractive seaside town, specialises in upmarket dining under award winning chef Stephen Gomes and is dedicated to using the freshest, most sustainable local produce for their exciting drinks and dishes wherever possible. This was evident in the menu set for the event with specially tailored and distinct afternoon teas for both ladies and gentlemen. For those fancying something alcoholic to drink, three exclusive cocktails were on offer in addition to prosecco: the Voodoo Smoking Cocktail, the Mad Scientist Smoking Cocktail and Adam’s Gin & Tonic.
Along with the delicious food and drink, guests were treated to live entertainment. Attendees also got involved with the fundraising on the day through a raffle and auction. Prostate Cymru would like to say a big thank you to hosts Konsa Micallef and Ian Norton for organising a brilliant afternoon.
