On Saturday 15th September Fishguard & Goodwick Bowls Club held their annual open day event. The club is the only bowls centre in the far north of Pembrokeshire and are always welcoming new members and visitors. Established in 1925 Fishguard & Goodwick Bowls Club has teams for both men and ladies and is renowned for being a friendly club.
This year the club raised money for Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales, throughout the open day. The event was successful with members and guests raising an amazing £605. Club Captain Richard Thomas recently presented the cheque to John Williams from the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru.
