Helen Evans took a giant leap of faith on the 19th April as she faced an incredible fundraising challenge – a tandem skydive!
Helen, an Associate Legal Executive from Pen Y Fai, Bridgend, decided to do a skydive to support her father Revd Canon Edward Evans who has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Canon Evans is the vicar of the benefice of Laleston and Merthyr Mawr with Pen-Y-Fai. He also holds governor positions at local schools including Trelales Primary, Pen-y-Fai CW Primary and Bryntyrion Comprehensive.
About her skydive, Helen said “It was an amazing experience and I’m just so pleased that I have had the opportunity to do this for such a worthwhile and meaningful charity.”
