As part of our goal to raise awareness of prostate cancer and diseases, the charity creates and distributes campaigns across Wales.
These campaigns have included partnering with the Welsh Rugby Union for an awareness campaign called ‘The best defence is to know the facts’ and the current Prostate Cymru campaign, ‘Gentlemen, Protect your third nut’.
At the annual Ambassadors Lunch event held at Cornerstone in 2017, the charity launched its #savethemalesinwales awareness campaign. The hashtag is used to spark conversation about prostate diseases and the prevalence of both benign prostate disease and prostate cancer in men in Wales. The campaign encourages men to be more proactive about their prostate health and to speak about their prostate to their GP.
