HSJ Accountants, based in Newport, have chosen to support Prostate Cymru as their nominated charity in 2018-19. The organisation works alongside many of Wales’ successful businesses and offer services such as practical advice on tax, bookkeeping, VAT and accounts. The team’s mission is to provide their clients with a support network to offer reliable advice, expert opinion and honest feedback from a team they know and trust.
HSJ Accountants have pledged to raise awareness and funds for the charity over the year to support prostate cancer sufferers in Wales. The organisation has shared information such as the key facts about prostate cancer on their website and will be displaying awareness leaflets in their offices for their staff and clients to read.
The business has also entered a team of seven into one of Prostate Cymru’s biggest events: The Big Walk 2018, the longest and most challenging group charity walk in Wales. The team will be walking 30 miles from the Principality Stadium, Cardiff to Kenfig Hill RFC, Bridgend in approximately 9 hours on Saturday 30th June to raise money and awareness for Prostate Cymru.
