Sian has raised the incredible funds through various events including Sian’s daughter shaving off her hair, a raffle, bucket collections, cake sales, quizes and a wear pink for prostate ladies competition. Thanks to Sian’s hard work Prostate Cymru was a nominated “green disc” cause at her local Asda Living store in Talbot Green and where Sian has also held a number of bucket collections for the charity.
Sian picked Prostate Cymru as her charity for Sian’s time as Lady Captain of Llantrisant and Pontyclun in memory of her father who suffered with prostate cancer.
Speaking previously about her funding raising efforts Sian Webb said, “I’d like to do something that I hope he would be proud of me for – fundraising in his memory.”
A huge thank you to Sian and her fellow fundraisers for their incredible support over the last year. You have helped to raise much needed funds and raise awareness of prostate diseases. Recently Prostate Cymru Chairman, Andy Thomas visited Llantrisant & Pontyclun Golf Club to accept the cheque on behalf of the charity.
