PlayMoreGolf Announce Prostate Cymru to be one of their charities

Prostate Cymru are thrilled to announce they are one of the charities for PlayMoreGolf.

PlayMoreGolf is the first flexible golf membership linking individual golf clubs across the United Kingdom under one membership.

Throughout the year PlayMoreGolf are looking to host a golf day, help with raffle prizes, and work with clubs across Wales to raise both funds and awareness.

Mark Selby, PlayMoreGolf Club Relationship Manager and Head of Brand Partnerships, said “We’re delighted to be partnering with Prostate Cymru, the leading men’s health organisation in Wales. You may be aware of the work they do in the sporting industry and we at PlayMoreGolf look forward to helping them spread the vital messages throughout the game of golf. Prostate Cymru works to help everyone in the fight against prostate cancer – the most common cancer in men.”

Prostate Cymru is the leading prostate health charity in Wales, supporting men with prostate issues such as benign prostate disease and prostate cancer.

Speaking about the partnership, Owen Pugsley, Corporate Events and Marketing Manager, said, “Over the past few years golf has been a huge vehicle for us to raise awareness throughout Wales working with clubs such as Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club, Royal Porthcawl to name a few. PlayMoreGolf working with us as a charity partner will help us reach even more men in Wales and help educate men on the dangers of prostate disease and cancer.”

The charity has no national or government funding and relies on the kindness and generosity of its fundraisers and partnerships such as this one to help spread awareness across Wales.

If you are a member or Captain of a golf club, Prostate Cymru would love to hear from you.
