Prostate Cymru are getting on board with the Jubilee festivities in June, by encouraging people to incorporate a fundraising element into their celebrations.
To mark the Queen’s 70th year on the throne, BBQs, street parties and family celebrations are expected to take place across the country, with the public making the most of the long bank holiday.
The Jubilee weekend is an opportunity to raise much needed funds for Prostate Cymru, by incorporating simple and fun fundraising activities into any planned festivities. From having a fundraising game at your street party to a donation box at your BBQ.
We recently launched our Fundraising Guide to help supporters fundraise for Prostate Cymru.
As part of the Jubilee celebrations we have created a free downloadable jubilee celebration pack to work alongside our Fundraising Guide containing bunting, donation labels, and posters which can be used at all types of events to show your support to Wales’ leading prostate health charity.
Every 45 minutes a man in the UK dies of prostate cancer an issue that will affect 1 in 8 men, increasing to 1 in 3 if there is a family history. Prostate Cymru are committed to generating awareness, improving research and services for men in Wales suffering with prostate health. With no government funding, every penny counts.
