A charity golf day has raised £1226 for Prostate Cymru, the leading prostate health charity in Wales supporting men with benign prostate disease and prostate cancer. Wayne James presented awareness volunteer Ian Norton with the brilliant sum for the charity on Wednesday 11th December.
The golf day was organised by Wayne James in memory of his father and avid golfer Yano who passed away in 2012. At the end of August each year Wayne organises the charity golf day in Yano’s memory and donates the funds raised to local charities and good causes. The event is held in Dinas Powys Golf Club where Yano, a natural sportsman who excelled in golf and darts, was a member.
