Breakfast Inspiration...

Everyone has a favourite way to start their morning. Some like a grab and go classic – tea and toast, whilst others use the most important meal of the day as an opportunity to chuck in some chillies and smash up an avocado or two.

Here at Prostate Cymru we hope to inspire with a list of our top 10 breakfasts, catering for all tastes and cooking styles.

  1. Full Welsh breakfast, with all the trimmings
  2. Eggs Benedict
  3. Fresh croissants with jam
  4. Classic bacon sandwich
  5. Huevos rancheros
  6. Bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese
  7. Smashed avocado and chilli flakes on toast
  8. Blueberry smoothie bowl
  9. Nutella and banana pancakes



Serves 4


3 cups porridge oats
3 cups natural yoghurt
2 bananas
3 handfuls of blueberries
50ml milk
1 tsp peanut butter
Splash of maple syrup


Chia seeds (optional)

mixed berries – blueberries, raspberries



  1. Put all ingredients into a blender and mix for 1 minute, until smooth.
  1. Pour evenly amongst 4 small breakfast bowls

Top with chia seeds and extra mixed berries
